Un posto magico, nel centro del quartiere artistico di Milano. Ci troviamo a Brera, più precisamente nel palazzo di via Palermo Uno. Qui si trova un appartamento bizzarro, dai colori sgargianti e decorato dalle più curiose opere di design di adesso e di allora. Si tratta di una casa sotto ogni aspetto, abbiamo un bagno, camera da letto, soggiorno,cucina,studio e tutto ciò che serve. Qui Sophie Wannenes,nel 2018, ha iniziato il suo progetto, trasformando il proprio atelier in un angolo di paradiso per gli appassionati di design. Dai bicchieri in vetro in stile brutalista lavorati a mano dallo studio Fferronedesign, agli specchi con inserti di vetro lavorato da mani esperte della regina del vetro di Vetrofuso, alle sagome di alberi che decorano l’atrio, e ancora un divano ispirato ai dervisci turbinanti di Roberto Gerosa, ai barattoli di StoneLab design, lampade Lunar totalmente fatte di pietra ognuna naturalmente diversa dall’altra
A magic place, in the center of the artistic quarter of Milan. We find ourselves in Brera, more precisely in a building on Via Palermo Uno. Here we find a bizarre apartment, loud colors and decorated with the most peculiar design works of then and now. It is a home in every aspect, we have a bathroom, bedroom, livingroom, kitchen, study and all that is needed. Here Sophie Wannenes, in 2018, started her project, transforming her own atelier into a corner of paradise for those passionate about design. From Brutalist style glasses made by hand by Fferronedesign studio, to the mirrors with glass inserts worked by the expert hands of the queen of Vetrofuso glass, to the silhouettes of trees that decorate the atrium, and more a sofa inspired by the whirling dervishes of Roberto Gerosa, to the jars of StoneLab design, Lunar lamps totally made of stone each naturally different from the other. There is something for every taste, every situation and every room, to be able to better express our taste. In this place, Sophie, has created a meeting among different worlds, succeeding at making them work together to create the dream home of any designer with an eye for bold colors. Already present at Fuorisalone, now this space will live for a little longer, to then be transferred to a new location to be discovered.
